Recycling

Waste recycling refers to the set of strategies and methodologies aimed at recovering useful materials from waste for reuse rather than direct disposal in landfills or incinerators. Recycled materials therefore prevent the waste of potentially useful materials, ensure greater sustainability in the production/use cycle, and reduce the consumption of raw materials, energy use, and associated greenhouse gas emissions.

Recyclable materials are any waste that can be reused to produce new objects identical to the waste (glass, paper) or used to produce new materials (wood, fabrics).

The materials that can be recycled are:

Wood
Glass
Paper and cardboard
Fabric
Tires
Aluminum
Steel
Plastic
Organic waste

Particular attention is paid to plastic. Because it is widely used for packaging, plastic is a major component of solid waste; furthermore, it is non-biodegradable, taking over 1,000 years for the soil to break it down. Some types of plastic are toxic when burned; it is therefore essential to recycle it as much as possible. Many types of plastic can be easily recycled, while for others the process is more complex.

From the perspective of environmental protection, it is therefore necessary to dispose of all products at the end of their life cycle correctly.

In our user manuals you will find directions for properly disposing of the product. If you can no longer find the user manual, you can get a copy by downloading it at the Manuals page.
